Shoe face-lift

I was doing a bit of spring cleaning (more like trying to shovel all the junk out the bottom of my closet) when I came across a pair of plain black patent leather Mary Jane’s that I had completely forgotten about. They were a pair of those shoes that you get intending to wear then forget about, so I decided to give them a face-lift. I used a bit of acrylic paint on these puppies and now there one of my favorite pairs of shoes, and I get loads of complements on them. Do you have a air of shoes your not crazy about? Whip out some paints and go to town! Paint the heel or the soul, give them polka dots or stripes, let your imagination got wild and the outcome will be an unique pair of shoes that you’ll finally love and wear a lot more.

My first post ever!

Wow, my first blog post ever, I might just be talking to myself here, but I thought it was about time to start a blog, I see so many lovely things every day and it would be cruel of me to keep them all to myself! I’ll give you a little information about myself so we can feel a bit more familiar…

• I have many interests including; photography, sketching, baking and sewing, but mostly fashion and making everyday things more special
• I believe inspiration can be found anywhere if you just look properly
• If I had to describe my style it would be feminine and colorful with just a dash of whimsy
• I LOVE thrift stores, you can find anything there!
